Anyone who reads the blog or sees my Instagram can tell, I love creating large, and lush Grazing Boards. I truly enjoy spending the time picking out and pairing meats and cheeses. For my Grazing Boards, I go well beyond the meat and cheese, there is so much more that can be added to a board to really make it stand out.

To enhance my Grazing Boards, I always add fresh fruit and florals, they both add color and texture to the display. My special surprise on this board was from, Gracie & I – I love their Fruit and Nut press. I discovered this gorgeous brand while in California on vacation and I love it!  This product adds a special touch to the board, and pairs so well with most cheeses.  These fruit presses come in a variety of flavor and fruits that are seasonal.

This party was a Latin theme dinner. The party was held outdoors, and on a beautiful lake – which added a stunning natural backdrop and atmosphere! It was a beautiful Summer day, but Michigan can have some temperamental weather that can change drastically in minutes. This board was created at the last second, right before the guests arrived due to the heat and scattered rain showers. With outdoor displays, you have to be extremely conscious of the humidity. It helps to create a “mock” display indoors first, and then transfer it outside right before your guests arrive. Be sure to cover the table space with paper, if you’re using a table that stays outdoors. I love using runner paper from Hester & Cook. They’re sold both online and at Detroit Garden Works.
