Phyllo wrapped feta, drizzled with honey and sesame seeds is one of the most popular dishes in Greece. Everyone knows about Greek flaming cheese…. well, in my opinion, this dish is much better. I love food that brings out both savory and sweet, and this is the perfect example of that. In Greece, I would consider this a snack, but here I would serve it as an appetizer or a dessert. The crunchy, salty, sweet and nutty flavors compliment each other perfectly. The perfect dish to impress your guest! With only a few ingredients this takes 30 mins to make.

Notes

Tip: Keep the phyllo dough moist by covering it with a damp towel. Lower the heat if you think it is browning the phyllo to quickly, the cheese will needs to heat up and start to melt. I love using Greek honey, but using local honey is just as amazing. Visit your local farmers market!
