I am a proud Greek American, my mother is from Lakonia, Greece and my father is from Thessaloniki. I was born and raised in Metro Detroit. I grew up in the restaurant business, I was very fortunate to be involved in one of the most well-known restaurants in Oakland County, Mitch’s Tavern.
My grandparents, parents and extended family all greatly influenced my love and passion for food. My maternal grandmother and my mother were two of the most influential cooks who strengthened my love for Greek culture, farm-to-table food, and cooking with seasonal ingredients, or what’s in the farm.
